We were delighted to bring Cyber Connect London back to the City of London Club. The event brought together security leaders, practitioners, and innovators for an evening of networking, knowledge-sharing, and community building.

Key Insights from Our Speakers

Our line-up of speakers covered a range of timely and thought-provoking topics:

  • Brian Boyd, Principal Security Consultant at i-confid

ential, explained why pragmatic security plans — rather than perfect ones — are the plans that actually get delivered.

  • Scott Rowlandson, CEO & Founder at NetAutomate, challenged the hype around artificial intelligence, showing how treating AI like employees, not superhumans is already delivering measurable results.

  • Sudarshan Ratnavelu, CISO at FSCS, shared decades of leadership experience, giving an honest and practical take on leading security teams through austerity and delivering more with less.

The evening was guided by our Master of Ceremonies, Elaine McKechnie, Head of Cyber Security Consultancy at i-confidential.

Alongside Elaine, the wider i-confidential team — Nicola Huskie, Simon Lawrence, Toju Dediare, and Lewis Black — were central to creating an atmosphere where conversations flowed and connections were made.

As always with Cyber Connect, the event was about more than presentations. Guests enjoyed lively discussions, plenty of networking, and even a sweet treat or two (yes, the cake pops made an appearance!).

Looking Ahead

Cyber Connect London once again showed the value of bringing together people across the industry to share ideas, experiences, and perspectives. We’d like to thank everyone who attended for making the evening such a success — and we look forward to seeing you at the next Cyber Connect.
