
Ian Harragan
Ian is one of the co-founders of i-confidential. His success has been built upon extensive and diverse experience across global financial services, in a variety of senior manager and consultancy roles.

Ian has been both functional leader of Information Security and also programme lead for a number of Information Security and IT Security improvement programmes within different leading financial services organisations.
​
He has recently completed major initiatives in the identity and user access management, data leakage, and security transformation arenas.
​
Ian was previously the Head of Information Security for the Royal Bank of Scotland Group throughout the UK & Ireland, where he had responsibility for security across the group's many brands and substantial supplier base.

Ian's background is in retail banking and encompasses strong risk management, information security, and operations management. He is a highly effective leader, with an enviable track record in driving change and managing business transformation. Ian has a proven ability to lead and manage teams which deliver measurable business results. His skill set has enabled him to tackle a variety of roles, analyse key business requirements, and deliver high-quality solutions.
